Dr. Rex is senior faculty and the president of the Ursa Foundation. Dr. Rex, known as “Bear” is an outstanding educator. He is nationally and internationally recognized for his contribution to manual medicine through his lectures and course presentations of manual techniques. He brings to students “pearls of wisdom” learned in his more than 40 years of clinical experience. The Washington Osteopathic Medical Association honored Dr. Rex as 1989 Distinguished Life Member, 1990 Physician of the Year and in 2001 Dr. Rex received their highest award, the Warren Lawless Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2003 the Northwest Osteopathic Medical Foundation honored Dr. Rex with the coveted Founder’s Award. Dr Rex was the 2008 President of the Washington Osteopathic Medical Association. “Bear” resides in Edmonds, WA where in addition to his position with the Ursa Foundation he maintains a private practice limited to manual medicine.

Lino is senior faculty and member of the Board of Directors. For many years Lino has participated in the research and development of Ursa classes and has been an assisting/teaching faculty member. Lino develops classes and teaches for the Ursa Foundation at his clinic in Sacramento, CA. He is a talented teacher and an outstanding practitioner of manual techniques. He willingly shares his clinical experience with students, to help improve the care of their patients and rehabilitation of athletes. Lino resides in Sacramento, CA, with his wife and three children. He is in private practice at KINECTIONS, in Sacramento, CA.
