Looking at the Mal-Adaptive Patient
Including Biomechanical, Visceral and Endocrine Systems
This class will focus on the physiologic co-ordination of the body systems. Understanding the different roles of the endocrine system, visceral system and musculoskeletal system within the overall feed back mechanisms will help to tailor treatment to the specific mal-adaptations seen in manual practice. Different sequences of treatment will be discussed and demonstrated during lecture and laboratory time. Several treatment concepts will be presented to normalize dysfunction as it relates to the Mal-Adapted patients.
